In 2008, SBSS developed upgrade modifications to the Dragon Sledge. Specially designed high precision roller bearings were incorporated within the shear to provide improved cable deployment and burial
In 2009, SBSS work jointly with SMD of UK to incorporate the world’s first hybrid injector and passive shear system into the MD3 Hi-Plough. This “Double Action” burial system enables a more consistent performance to the 3m shear, enable the most effective application of the proven MD3 plough system.
To achieve the ultimate performace in post lay burial performance, SBSS is expanding the ROV fleet and advancing forwards to attain a more powerful ROV to achieve the deepest trenching performance for Post Lay. More details will be available shortly.
