SBSS owns and manages the only commercial submarine cable depot in mainland China.

Located with easy access to the East China Sea the Wujing depot has a telecom cable storage capacity of 3,841m³. Telecom cable is stored within 20 cable tanks,18 of which are custom-bonded. On-site warehouses are available for the safe and covered storage of system plant such as repeaters and branching units. Further storage areas are available for reeled power cables and umbilicals.
